Return Policy
We want all our customers to have a happy shopping experience with us, but we do understand know that online shopping isn’t always easy. Please read the below carefully before making any purchases with us.
RETURNS POLICY
We accept returns with respect to the following conditions:
The item must have been purchased on our online store.
Goods may be returned within 14 days of receiving the purchase in exchange for a gift voucher to the value of the item only, or customers may also return goods within 7 days of receiving their purchase for a full refund. The shipping fee will not be included on your gift voucher or refund. Only the amount issued will be the value paid of the garment only.
The item/s should be returned unworn, unwashed, with tags attached & in the original condition, suitable for re-sale. We are unable to accept returns of used, laundered or customer damaged goods. All items will be thoroughly inspected upon return & will only be processed if our returns standards are met.
If the item/s have had any alterations, you will not qualify for a return.
It is our customers' responsibility to return the item to us by reliable courier service. In the case that the return is lost in the post, we will not take responsibility and therefore cannot process the refund.
Regrettably we cannot offer returns on international orders as South African Customs charges duty to bring the item back into the country, therefore it becomes too costly.
SALE ITEMS & DISCOUNT CODES
We DO NOT issue cash refunds on sale items, items purchased with a gift voucher, or any items purchased at any of the pop-up markets.
Alternatively, these items can be exchanged for a different size or a gift voucher to the value of the item/s will be issued should the item not be available.
If you have chosen the wrong size or are not happy with the style, we can issue you with a gift voucher to purchase your preferred size or another style.
EXCHANGES
If you've received your item and it doesn't quite fit right, we would be happy to exchange it for something else from our collection depending on stock availability.
In the very unlikely event of a manufacturing defect, the issue must be brought to our attention via email to sales@thegayacollection.co.za within 24 hours of receipt of goods, accompanied by a photo to support a replacement claim. If the garment is confirmed defective, the defective garment must be in its original packaging, swing tickets attached and we will send a courier to collect the item.
Once we receive the faulty item, we will issue a refund, or replace the item for you at your choice. If you are not happy to receive a replacement for your damaged garment, we will give you a full cash refund.
GIFT VOUCHERS
Gift vouchers are valid for one year from date of purchase.
